Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at the Royal Canadian Lodge, we were impressed by its suitability for business travelers like myself. The hotel's event and meeting spaces cater to corporate needs, with complimentary Wi-Fi available, ensuring seamless connectivity. The presence of a 24-hour reception allows for flexibility and convenience during your stay. Situated just a 10-minute walk from downtown Banff, it's easy to retreat to a quieter environment after a day of meetings. Our king bed suite was spacious enough for a comfortable work setup, featuring a gas fireplace-ideal for relaxation after a long day of hiking and remote working. The onsite amenities, including a restaurant with attentive service, were conducive to informal meetings. I was able to enjoy a productive breakfast before the day's agenda. Though the indoor swimming pool was slightly chilly for my liking, it provided a serene space for winding down. The Royal Canadian Lodge is a discerning choice for anyone seeking a balanced blend of work and leisure during their travels.
